Need Services?

We provide services to individuals and families who are currently without housing and want services to support housing stability.  We provide services based on housing navigation, stability, medical care coordination, applicable rent agreements regardless of credit score or eviction history, based on availability.

To Apply:

1. Call 211 or Butte County Housing Navigation Center at (530) 552-6200.  Or text "BeHome" to 898211.

2. Ask to be entered into Coordinated Entry and get assessed for a VI-SPADT score

  • You may be asked to make an appointment.
  • Give current and accurate information for all family members looking for housing:  income, number of people, and disabilities.
  • Make sure to call and update your information when any changes occur:  Contact info, income, or family size.

3. Ask the 211 representatives for local resources that apply to your situation.

4. Call our office at 530-399-3965 and leave a valid contact phone number for us to get back to you.

5. CHAT will reach out to individuals/families.  There is no need to reach out to CHAT directly.

Unfortunately, CHAT can not provide a timeline for how long it takes housing providers to contact individuals/families once their information is in Coordinated Entry.
