Real solutions need real support.

Behind every housing success is a care coordinator helping someone navigate the path forward. From first conversation to long-term stability, they provide the support that makes lasting change possible. Your support fuels that work every day.

Support Housing Solutions That Work

When you donate to CHAT, you’re doing more than providing a house; you’re making sure someone has a care coordinator walking alongside them every step of the way. From that first moment of stability to the milestones that follow, your support helps people navigate challenges, access resources, and build a path forward.

Your gift also sustains the day-to-day work that makes housing possible: maintaining safe, welcoming spaces, covering essential operations, and ensuring our team has the tools and capacity to show up consistently for every resident. This is what turns housing into a foundation for lasting stability.

Make a Direct Donation

A financial gift is the most immediate way to support this work, helping fund housing, support services, and programs that create real pathways out of homelessness.

There are also other ways to give, depending on what makes the most sense for you or your organization, and every form of support plays a role in sustaining this work.

Charitable Giving

Your gift can take many forms, including in-kind support that helps strengthen housing and essential services in our community.

You can support CHAT through non-cash gifts, including real estate, stocks, retirement assets, or in-kind services. These types of donations can create a larger impact while also offering potential tax benefits.

Corporate Partnerships

Businesses play a critical role in supporting housing solutions in our community.

Partnerships with businesses help us to provide housing and essential services. Opportunities range from direct support and sponsorship to in-kind contributions like equipment, materials, or services.

Furniture & Household Donations

When someone moves into housing, they are often starting from nothing. Donated furniture and household items help turn an empty space into a home and reduce the burden of starting over.

We accept clean, gently used furniture and essential household items.  Donations can be dropped off at our warehouse at 2725 Highway 32 in Chico on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9 am and 12 pm.  If you have questions about what items we accept, please call the office at (530) 399-3965.

Planned Giving

You can create a lasting impact through planned giving, whether by recommending a gift through a Donor-Advised Fund or including CHAT in your Estate Plan to help ensure this work continues for generations to come.

Your Support in Action

Every dollar you give reaches people at a critical moment, reinforcing that they are not alone. It keeps progress moving forward for individuals and families working to rebuild, making it possible for someone to find their footing again.

Your support helps remove the barriers that stand in the way. With housing and the right approach, people can regain stability, stay employed, and move toward long-term independence.

Your donations directly moves people from instability to long-term housing. These are real pathways to stability and independence, including:
